I made this into a Xmas tree decoration

I took this photo in Wales with my Holga.

This was a pattern I created - I may use it for silk shading but it may look nice in whitework too.

The leaves were inspired by a beautiful piece of embroidery I saw on the Greek Island of Hydra and the bird was a thinner version of a bird I became obsessed with on a piece of antique jewelry.

This is one of my peacock eye’s for the BBC show “To the Manor Re-born”. 

The RSN was asked to decorate a bed coverlet on a sixteenth century-style bed, in Avebury Manor in Wiltshire,  known as “The Peacock Bed”.

The Eyes are to be attached to the coverlet on site at Avebury Manor and the TV programme will be aired from the 24th November. Yay!
